No longer able to create new document

Until recently, I was able to create a new blank document by going to the file and selecting the create option. However, I am no longer able tto create a blank document in this manner. I re-installed a fresh copy of PS but to no avail. Has anyone come across this problem befoe and how can I resolve this issue pleasae?

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the version of Photoshop you're using along with your computers operating system? Are you getting an error while trying to create a new document?

Hi there, i am having the same issue with photoshop in that i can't create a new file. I hot new file, set the size etc then hit create and nothing happens. I uninstalled the photoshop and re-intalled it. Reset the preferences. Run as administrator but nothing seems to work?? Help please!
