Dear Adobe PS 25.3.1,

when I launch PS, I don't have the home screen anymore, instead I have a black screen, when I click on F9, the tab etc.. open, like it supposed to be(at least hope) when I launch PS...
if i click on the HOME icon, it just doesn't do anything...

nothing different if I delete or rename the preference file.

It's getting worst, even if I didn't modify the setting or else. when I click for << new document>>, it's the legacy(old) new document box, that open and it's really slow to open, I assume it's normal when you're getting older ...

About sniffer, I don<t have sniffer.exe.. the only thing is sniffer out, and it multiply itself like rabbits..

Hey, @Kapture benoit I'll need more specific info about this, and I'll help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

Does this happen after a specific series of steps? Do you have another app running that could be sharing resources with Photoshop?

Before anything else, please update Photoshop via the Creative Cloud desktop app & check if the issue exists, and if it does, share the system info from the latest install.

Try this: set Photoshop to run with administrator privileges by default.

  • Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 2024
  • Right-click on Photoshop.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Change Settings for all users > Check 'Run this program as an administrator'

  • Click on OK & Apply to save the changes.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

That sounds weird… what the heck is sniffer? Is it some kind of trojan?
