Not able to open within Graphistudio software. Is there an. exe file?

The error message I'm geting is:

you still havent set your preferred software to edit files (for instance photoshop) you will be asked to choose an application

I'm using a 3rd party software (Graphistudio-my album company ) in Windows. I used to be able to 'modify the image in photoshop' and it would open up in there for editing, then when I save it, automatically update with the changes, right within the album layout. .. 

Do you think the newer OS for windows is affecting it? It does ask me to choose an application, but I do not see a photoshop EXE file. Which file should I try inside of it's application folder?

The Photoshop .exe is in Program Files > Adobe > (Photoshop version).
