When I print an image that I have cropped, it usually does not print as cropped. I am using Kiosks at a few different Walgreen's and Walmart's for printing and the end result is a print that is smaller than my cropped image. I will guestimate I am losing 1/4 of an inch total on 5x7. At the kiosk, I tell the Kiosk I want to print the size that I have it cropped to. It's not an error of me not setting the correct size at the kiosk.
My method is to first go to Image then Image Size, and set it to eg; 5x7, resolution 300, (I scan at 300 dpi) preserverve details (enlargment), if enlarging. After that I use the crop tool and crop to the same.
Am I not doing someting correctly or do these kiosks not print the full image? Thanks for any hints or replies.
