Object Selection Tool

When I use the Object Selection Tool Windows 10 says it has an error and restarts. I use registered Photoshop 2022.

My configuration is as follows:

Windows 10 Pro

OctalCore Intel Core i9-9900K, 5000MHz (50x100)

ASRock Z390 Pro4 (3 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 2 M.2, 4 DDR4 DIMM

65456 MB (DDR4 SDRAM)

Radeon RX 580 Series (8GB)

Is that 8GB of RAM? If so upgrade to at least 16GB.

In the meantime, try resetting the Photoshop preferences.

If just Photoshop is crashing and restaring, I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system. If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html That will help us diagnose the crash.
