Offset filter gives transparent while on wrap around

Hello,

I want to offset my image while in pattern view, but when i do the offset (smart filter) it jus gives back transparent where it should return the offset of the image. I've tried restarting Photoshop starting new files and using all the features on the offset filter and still can't find where the problem is.

Thanks in regards

It looks like your image doesn't fill the canvas and has transparency - this is how it should work. Can you share a screenshot of your layers?

I think Jesus Rameriz had a good video on Pattern View and Offset recently.

Yes, here you go.  I like to think of myself as an expert with Photoshop, but Jesus rarely fails to show me super cool new tricks.  ISTR this one blew me away.  As you can see, I got back again. 😉
