Overwritting file with the same name

when you have a file named "dog" and you name another file "dog" by clicking on already existing file, the prompt shows. It's absolutely okay.

BUT when you spell the word "dog" and press enter no prompt appears and you lose your previous "dog" file forever. 

I spent around 1h with a really unhelpful customer service  agent that couldnt do nothing about it. 

Hope its fixed soon.
