When I copy and paste an image or vector from illustrator into photoshop CC it crops the image with no rhyme or reason? Even adding a fake bounding box around the image has the same effect. Have you come across this problem before?
Does turning on
Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Legacy Compositing
and restarting Photoshop make a difference?
If not: What are the Bounding Boxes of the places SOs?
What is the artboard in the original ai file/s?

I'm having a similar issue here - I'm trying to paste a graphic from illustrator into photoshop (I've also tried saving it as a graphic in libraries, but that has the same effect. The item is large, nearly 36000 pixels high, but annoyingly, the top 2-3000 pixels are being cropped and I can't for the life of me figure out why. I've never had this issue before and it's driving me mad. I even tried chopping up the graphic into different clipping masks, but that top section never copies across.
Legacy Compositing does not appear in my preferences, so I'm wondering if there are any other solutions available?

Try scaling it down before copy/paste? Or just Save As from Illustrator, then Place as Linked in Ps.

This was happeing to me when I was dragging objects from my Library to my Photoshop document. I was able to fix it by selecting the object and then clicking the "Reset Transforms" button in the Properties panel. I had to do this for each individual object which was time consuming. I don't know if there is a way to do this faster.
