Hi!

I use paths a lot, exclsuively COMBINE SHAPES as my path operation go to.

But I find I am hitting SOME key combo inadvertently thats changing it to SUBTRACT FRONT SHAPE.

And it's making me hate life itself.

I cant find the shortcut in the preferences to destroy it utterly. Can anyone figure out a way to stop this crime against humanity?

Here are the keyboard shortcuts for subtracting front shape:

While drawing the shape:

  • Holding the Option (Mac) | Alt (Win) and dragging a shape adds a newly drawn shape to the current shape layer and subtracts the new path from the previous shape(s) if the two shapes overlap (Subtract Front Shape).

After drawing the shape:

  • Tap the – (minus) key to Subtract the front shape (set the path operation in the Option bar to Subtract Front Shape).

Thank you. Is there a way to disable this.

It's too easy to accidentally trigger this shortcut without meaning to.
