My photoshop app on my gaming PC has been fine this morning until now. I have tried to open a PSD file only to the application not loading it after the bar has filled. There's so much work on that project and it's roughly 300 layers which the PC handles like a champion. Other files open just fine aside from this one.
I have dowloaded the file and then opened it as the second attempt, nothing then the application starts up to make a "new" file. My internet is fine, but I don't want to lose all that work. I have purged every file as an extra, but nothing changed as I even reset preferences twice.
Now I'm attempting my last attempt to fix the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling. What should I do to ix this?
I have figured out the issue. I had Netflix open next to Photoshop and my PC crashed possibly in the middle of the saving process, resulting in the file becoming "corrupted" and not opening. Making a copy seems to fix the issue perfectly.

Hi, thanks for reaching out!
If you're experiencing this only with one file, it might be an issue with the file and not the application. Since you mentioned downloading the file, could you tell us where it was saved and when you last saved it?
Thanks,
Nikunj
