Photomerge is leading to photoshop "not responding"

HI everyone! I keep having issues with photomerge when I approach 50 images and seems to hitch while aligning layers. Any suggestions?

Specs

r7 5800x

rtx 3080

64GB ram

2tb scratch disk 

These are DJI mavic 3 cine Photos btw (5280x3956)

Hi @__Joel__ This is most likely a matter of resources. Go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.

Then, how large are the files in MB/GB each?
