Photoshop 2020 crashes on startup at menus during loading on Windows 10 home

Hello all. I just downloaded photoshop through the creative cloud onto an MSI lptop running Windows home 10 ver 21H2 with experience pack 120.2212.4170.0. When trying to launch Photoshop 2020, the load screen comes on, starts loading extensions and then, when it gets to "menus" it crashes and the load screen disappears. Any idea what could be causing this?
