Photoshop 2020 freezes/stops working - all the time

I've had this problem since summer 2019.
After struggling for a long time I thought my computer was the problem so a few weeks ago I bought a brand new one with excellent specs, lots of free space and reinstalled Photoshop. Barely installed anything except basic programs - But Photoshop still freezes....!!
This is beginning to be a huge problem for me as it keeps freezing for up to 20 times during a work day and I loose a LOT of work, time and money. I can't keep on working this way and I DESPERATELY need a fix.

I'm using Windows 10. Graphic card driver is updated. Never had any problems working with big files before. (Yet it seems Photoshop doesn't care if they're big or small. It'll crash anyway) I don't have any extensions, actions or anything weird except my custom brushes that I've had for years. I'm also using a Wacom Intuos tablet while I work.

P.s. I just installed the latest update for Photoshop. If that doesn't help I don't know what to do.

Sorry that Photoshop 2020 21.0.2 is freezing randomly on your computer running Windows 10

Please checkout the steps below:

1) Checkout the steps mentioned in this article https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/kb/photoshop-slow-lags.html 

2) Turn on the Legacy Compositing option in Performance preferences. Choose Edit > Preferences > Performance (Windows) or Photoshop > Preferences > Performance (macOS). Select Legacy Compositing. Quit and relaunch Photoshop

Okay, so I've also tried turning on Legacy Compositing.Tried increasing memory allocation to 80%. I've looked trough the steps mentioned in the article. Photoshop still crashes.
Who can I contact to get more help on this?

Hi

The only thing noticable on your system info is that you are not using the latest studio driver for your NVidia GPU.You should be able to update that from the NVidia website

Are you doing anything in particular when Photoshop freezes?

If it crashes, is there any info in Windows reliability history relating to the crash? (Type reliability into the Windows search bar)

Thanks both of you for your advices so far. I really hope you can guide me in trying to find a solution to this problem.

This is what I've tried so far:
Updated Nvidia GPU driver.
Updated Photoshop.
Updated Wacom driver.

Today it crashed again. I'm not doing anything particular when Photoshop crashes. Because I work as an illustrator I'm almost always using my wacom pen, drawing and painting. Today I was simply coloring some simple lineart when Photoshop suddenly froze.

Windows reliability history didn't mention anything about todays crash, but this is what i found about a crash a few days ago:

Because I'm not a technical genious I feel quite lost at what to do now.
I'm going to try and turn on the legacy compositing option, as Akash recommended, and let you know if that helps.

Btw: Does anyone know if Windows Ink is causing Photoshop to crash? I've had to change the windows ink settings so that I can have normal brush sensitivity but perhaps it's still haunting me in the background, messing things up?

Hello, there is a new update to Photoshop, V 21.1  that fixes various issues: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html#photoshop-desktop-fixed-issues try to update from the CC application.
