Photoshop 2020 has running problems/freezes

Long-time user (since Photoshop was created), first-time reporter:

I've never had problems with Adobe Photoshop until now. Just tried 2020 and it's freezing on the slightest of things done (beachball turning indefinitely). I wanted to post because the more posts, I'm betting the quicker they'll get it rectified. Sad to see their flagship app failing.

Can you share your computer information - what is the os, etc.

It's been constantly freezing for me and is practically unusable at this point—I've had to revert to 2019 for the time being.

I'm on a 2017 iMac using macOS Mojave 10.14.5.

Best idea... REVERT!! 2020 is USELESS!

is this during trying to close panels like the prefs or layer styles? 

i've had that too
