Photoshop 2021 : disappearing text when editing

Since I updated to Photoshop 2021, I can't see the text when I click to edit it or when I want to make it larger. Also, the eyedropper tool does not work the same as the previous version: it does not copy the style or color I want to apply to my text. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app and the problem stills there. Any cues? 

There's my iMac specs : 

• macOS Mojave 10.14.6
• Model Name: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019)
• Processor name: Intel Core i5
• Processor speed: 3.1 GHz
• Number of processors: 1
• Total number of cores: 6
• Memory: 32 GB

No!!!  This is a fault that needs to be sorted out today.

I have just downloaded the latest update of PS and tried typing on an image in Lab, RGB and Mono, and the text does not commit until the escape button is pressed.
I touch-type, and got on well with PS 2018 and spent about two hours grappling with this on Monday doing a job that should have taken ten minutes.

Same problem here since update to PS 2022.

Due to this sometimes the layers looks like they were empty.

Today there was a update, but that didn't fix the issue 😞

I am staggered that a company like Adobe could make such a change. Photoshop 2018 ran on my eight-core I7 SSD system like a hot knife through butter.

Now it looks like the software was created by a bunch of amateurs.

I found myself looking at a pirate 2018 version on the internet to download so that I can go back to the professional software. not his pile of junk.

I put an image on the screen, use the mouse wheel to scroll, and limps up and down as if there is deliberate damping in the system.

I teach this stuff and I am tearing my hair out.

I've just rolled back to Adobe Photoshop Version: 22.1.1 20210104.r.138 2021/01/04: 852879028a7 x64

which works OK.

I'll wait for 23 update in the new year.
