I am having a very unpleasant and easily reproducible problem with the latest version of Photoshop 2021 on my trashcan Mac Pro equipped with two monitors (at the moment, an old 30" Cinema and 24" mini displayport). The system also has an external GPU, but Photoshop GPU acceleration is configured to work with one of the internal D700 GPUs.

Photoshop freezes during content-aware fill. Upon restart, the main monitor has no video, but the system detects it just fine. Subsequent restarts do not restore video. Resetting PRAM leads to an infinite reboot sequence, which can only be fixed by reinstalling MacOS via internet. As you can imagine, this is a very time-consuming issue.
This situation took place three times already, and all three times it was caused by Photoshop trying to do content-aware fill.
