Photoshop 2022 bug "Select All"

Hello everybody.
I installed the Photoshop 2022 update and first thing I note this bug : when I use "Select all" command (with shortcut or command menu) no dotted line appears on the screen. Same if I use the rectangular marquee tool and I try to select entire area.
Is there some new options to set?

Hi, unfortunately, I'm not seeing the same issue. I tried tabbed documents, floating documents, overscroll on or off.

I guess that you checked that you are zoomed out enough? Does a selection show on smaller areas?

Could you please check in Preferences>Performance if the GPU acceleration is on?

Also, you can post the contents of Photoshop's Help>System Info... menu, so that we get to know your OS, its version, the exact version of Photoshop you are running, the kind of GPU you have, the date of the GPU driver, etc.

That error is just for "Select All", if I do a smaller selection everything is ok.

I'm using 23.1.0 now and this bug is still here... As well as when I use Ctrl+0 - dotted line is somewhere outside. I have to enlarge a windows to see it. This version (incl. 22) is really frustrating to use. Flickering when changing windows size and so on. If it would be possible to go back to version 21, I will do it immediately!

Hello, I too am unfortunately running into this issue of marquee visibility in windowed mode. For me, this issue started in 2021, partially, and then, as described above, in 2022. To recap, when in a windowed mode, the marquee is hidden from view when 'selecting all'. The marquee appears when expanding the window border. It is there, it is just not being rendered on screen in certain situations. This is a big problem for me, as I often can't tell if I've set a marquee around a document, or not. This micro-trouble shooting only takes a moment, of course, but over the course of a day, it does add up, and adds to a frustrating work experience. My day to day workflow involves looking at, reviewing, working within, and marking up, a lot of documents. I've included a video of this issue along with my system configuration, here.

Thank you. I'm going to take a guess and say this is a Windows thing. Nevertheless, this shouldn't fly. Nothing would make me happier than to see this resolved, which, having used PS for decades, is a disappointing statement to make in the year of 2022.
