Photoshop 2022 not showing layers even though it's on

Woke up this morning to Photoshop 2022 installed on my computer.

I needed to drag text and some other things from a PSD I have onto a new image. And even though all the layers are turned on, they will not show on the image. I can create new text and it will show, but I can't drag anything from any files that I've created previously.

What can I do here?

Go to preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
