Photoshop 2022 won't open due to 'Missing Components'.

Ever since I updated PS to 2022 version 23.0, I haven't been able to open it due to 'Some of the components are missing from the application directory. Reinstall application'. I have reinstalled multiple times but it still won't open. I'm on Mac Catalina 10.15.7 and have had no troubles with Illustrator or Premier.

Have you tried resetting Photoshop preferences when starting it?

Have you tried reinstalling Photoshop?

Mine seems to be working fine but I'm on Windows.

Same problem here EXCEPT I don't even get an 'explaination', just a "There a problem..." window.  I've uninstalled, reinstalled, no luck.  Now I've uninstalled and I'm using PS 22.whatever the last one was.  I'm on Big Sur all the updates including the latest just this morning.  Old 2013 mac Pro...
