PHOTOSHOP 2023 CRASHES WHEN TRYING TO START A NEW FILE

Hello,

My PS latest doesn't get past pressing create a new file. I have sent a couple of reports. I did receive a link for the fix but unless I just uncheck USE GRAPHICS PROCESSOR, same thing.

I'm a novice. Can I use PS without the GP being clicked?

I can use PS2022 but I would like to use what I am paying monthly for. Any help would be appreicated. 

Again, I am a novice to this.

Try this - go to Photoshop Preferences/Technology Preview and check Older GPU mode.

Does that resolve the issue?
