Photoshop 2025 doesn't saves the change of definition

Hi everybody; Photoshop 2025 on Macbook. I'm trying to change a 1920x1080 image definition from 300dpi to 72dpi, but after having changed dpi in the resize window with the Resample enabled, saved and closed the image, when I open the jpg file again it still is 300dpi. Can somebody help me, please?

I think you need to show screenshots of your Image Size dialog, before and after.
