Photoshop 2025 Error Running Action to Create Gradient

I'm using Photoshop 2025 on a Mac running MacOS Sequoia 15.1. I'm using a plug in that has an action that should create a layer group with two layers, each of which is a gradient to create a square vignette.

I've tried several times (after closing and reopening Photoshop), and get an error saying the action can't be done because of a program error. I installed the Photoshop User Diagnostic plugin and this is what the error generates:

Actions are a custom workflow; it'll help if you export and share the action file so we can test this.

Also, if the action is not too complex, try recreating a test action with the same steps and checking how it goes.

Sameer,

The action is part of a plug-in, so I don't know how to extract it. I've attached the system info. I've tried the action on a few different pictures. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it works partially (e.g. creating the group folder, but not the individual actions). If it fails or only works partially, then I get the same error code.

I talked to the person who developed the plugin. Neither he nor his programmer has been able to recreate it.

It'll be difficult to predict how an external action behaves. Please share the plugin's name and exact version so that one of our experts can share a workaround.
