Photoshop 2025 not properly starting from out of Lrc

Community Beginner ,

I must admit that I strongly considering stepping out of Lrc and PS. After the recent updates, I can't get PS 2025 properly started. When giving the command "open as layers in PS", PS 2025 takes ages to open and gets stuck at the start page not importing the different pictures. I have tried everything possible by reinstalling both Lrc and PS, even installing older PS versions but nothing seems to help.

Who can help me, please?

Regards,

Bart

@Sameer K  after having multiple interactions with the Adobe support team I think we finally identified the issue. Apparently, for one or another reason, my external harddrive contained in one set of pictures corrupted picture(s). After saving them first on my C drive it seemed to work and after taking another set of pictures the problem seemed to be gone. Thanks for offering your help, regards, Bart

Hi All-

I am a lost after the latest updates from Lrc 14.4 & PS 26.8, the function " open as layers in Ps", from Lrc doesn't work anymore on my windows laptop. After a long time PS starts however, it is the start screen and nothing further happens. I have changed the PS preference from PS 2025 to PS Beta version in Lrc and vice versa. I reinstalled Lrc and PS, restarted computer however, I don't get any effect.

Who can help?

Thanks,

Bart

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hey, @Bart_Gabriels0998. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Does this happen with all images, or images with specific edits? Try with a set of images that are not edited and check how it goes.

There is an ongoing issue with images with SuperRes don't work in the Edit-in-PS workflow: https://adobe.ly/40qZcJy

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Sameer K
