Photoshop 2026 does not show file extensions

Photoshop 2026 does not show file extensions in Grid view. It has always done it in the previous versions. How do I get it back to show file extensions? I'm running it on a MacBook

In Grid view... where? Photoshop is not a file browser. Can you maybe post a screenshot?

Photoshop has its own internal file browser, it opens in Grid or List view by default when clicking on the app. It has done that for many years. I am not talking about the grid that you can use when editing images

Maybe you are thinking of Photoshop Elements. The full Photoshop does not have a file browser.
