Photoshop 21.1.3 Freezes When Cropping on Windows 10

PS is consistently freezing whenever I try to crop an image. Honestly can't say if other actions also cause freezing because I can't get past this.

I have never had an issue like this before, however, Windows 10 installed their V.2004 feature update last night, so I suspect this could be a contributing factor.

I'm also now receiving an error about an incompatible display driver which I have never seen before.

Anyone else seeing these issues?

Hi there,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop after the Windows 10 update.

Please try to uninstall and re-install the graphic card drivers directly from the manufacturers website. You can also check the steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

If you still face issues, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

Let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Nikunj
