Hi, my Photoshop has been updated to the latest version and I'm on the latest version of Windows 10. I cannot open the application because every time I try, it crashes as soon as it loads up. I've cleared all of my preferences and reinstalled once already and it still persists. Apologies in advance, here is the crash report:

I was able to fix my issue by updating my graphic driver NVIDIA, I would suggest anyone who is having this issue do the same before trying anything else! You can identify your driver by looking at your computer properties, or if you have NVIDIA, use the built in management system to see your type and version. Driver updates are available for free download on the NVIDIA website.

My solution for the Dell desktop devices (26 of them) was to update the AMD graphic program.  Once I did that, it automatically installed the latest and greatest AMD driver based on the new AMD software that now works with 22.3.1 Adobe PhotoShop.  For those troubleshooting, check each of your graphic cards software programs and verify they are up-to-date.  My technique of checking through device manager to see if the latest graphic driver did not help in this instance (it kept saying it was up-t

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop 22.3.1. You can try re-installing Photoshop after uninstalling it using the Creative Cloud cleaner tool. You can check the steps to use the Creative Cloud cleaner tool here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

If the issue persists, please go to the below mentioned location & rename the sniffer.exe & then try to launch Photoshop to check if it helps.

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2021

Let us know if it helps!

Regards,

Nikunj

Hi Nikunj I'm facing with exactly the same problem, I unstalled and installalled again without success. Given my workload I had to install back the Photoshop 22.3, and fortunate it seems to work fine. I think will wait for Photoshop 22.4 update

That´s not a working solution on macOS 10.15.7 "Catalina" (19H1030).

Just restarting the mac helps - for that one single day.

Sorry the current fixes aren't helping you, I'd suggest you make a separate similar topic specifically relating to macOS and including the crash report. Fixes on a PC are likely not going to be the same on a Mac.

It's not a 'Correct Answer' for people that don't use Nvidia cards.

Sure, but it's still a correct answer for those that do have NVIDIA cards. Once you find a solution for people that don't, then you can mark it as a correct answer too (even though it's not a correct answer for people who don't use NVIDIA).

Had been working successfully at 22.2. Went to 22.3 and started getting freezes and abends. Went back to 22.2 and was getting work done. 22.3.1 came along so I let CC update it. It just froze on an image resize and after a while just abended. In process of regressing to 22.2 again.

Open Creative Cloud (CC), find the Photoshop line in the list of installed apps, on the right next to the OPEN button are three horizontal dots 'More Actions', select them, you get a list that includes Other Versions, click on that and you will see a list of versions available to you. I recommend uninstalling your current version first.

BUT I was also given a work around that has worked OK for me so far, but I still want to know if there will be a fix in Photoshop.  The work around is to open Photoshop, go to the Edit pull down, go all the way to the bottom (had to force a scroll down to see it on my system) to Preferences, select and from the menu presented select Performance. In the upper right corner of the popup is a quadrant on Graphics Processor Settings, UNselect 'Use Graphics Processor', click OK.So far, this has
