Does it give any error messages?  Were there any windows or adobe updates/changes you are aware of inbetween when the issue did not happen and when it started happening?

Hello,

Thank you for replying...  No, there were no Adobe error messages or Windows error messages. The program just literally closed. Rebooting the computer I was able to complete one operation and then it closed again. From there, I could only open Photoshop where it would stay on in a static state until I tried to open an image, then it closed.

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble due to Photoshop crashing. Please try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor from Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.

If it helps, please try: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

If the issue persists, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop manually using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

Let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Nikunj
