After working 10-15 minutes, using Pan, highly zoomed in, intensive on Wacom Intuis Pro, the canvas freezes. No action is possible anymore. Only close and save window.
downgrade photoshop has no effect
reinstalled wacom drivers (also tried with downgraded driver)
reinstalled GPU drivers
deleted all preferences in Photoshop
if 'use graphic processor" is off things improve but photoshop is to slow to handle
drawing mode on basic is not te be found anymore ...??
any ideas?

Hi,
We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop 22.5 while panning. Do you experience the same behavior if you have the Wacom disconnected & you're using a mouse?
Please ensure you have all available Windows updates installed installed on the computer.
You can try enabling the option to Deactivate Native Canvas by going to Preferences, then Technology Previews. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.
Let us know how it goes!
Regards,
Nikunj

Go to Preferences > Tools... and uncheck "Enable Flick Panning" off. Does the problem go away?

I have the same issue with panning and Wacom Tablet.
If I disable Flick Panning all works fine, no freezes.
I have Photoshop 24.2.1.
Seems that this bug is pretty old but not fixed.
