I recently wrote about an issue in Photoshop 23.4.2 (Copy - New Document), corrected in 23.5.0

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/photoshop-2022-issue-copy-gt-new-docu...

New version of Photoshop, new issue...

When converting (or assigning) the color profile of an image, the correct wording does not appear in the small box at the bottom left. The image is actually converted (or the profile assigned) but still shows up as it has the old profile. It happens in both the Mac and Windows versions.

Great is the confusion...

It’s called »Status Bar«.

I can reproduce the issue.

Changing to »Document Sizes« and back to »Document Profile« results in the Status Bar displaying the correct profile.

The problem seems to affect the Info Panel, too.

I recommend you post a Bug Report, this thread is »just« a Discussion.
