Photoshop 23.5.1 - Graphics hardware acceleration does not work

I have an issue with PS 23.5 and 23.5.1 versions: after first launch a GPU check window with incompatibility information appears. There is reported to that GPU driver is out of date, OpenCL is not supported, etc. Then GPU acceleration gets disabled completely (no animation, no anti-aliasing, no scrubby zoom, rotation etc — even no VSync) but all the Performance tab checkboxes remain available, clickable and enabled.

After relaunching the bug stays persisting although the gpu check window says all OK but graphic driver is slightly too old (the latest version).

Flushing of the preferences, system reboot, driver and PS tweaking do not help. Reinstalling of PS and GPU drivers do not help too. Changing GPU does help with the same driver but other card (the same year) model.

In the 23.4.2 version all keeps on working OK with any card.
System is Windows 10 21H2 with the last update pack, AMD FirePro W7000 GPU, 21.Q2.1 AMD FirePro Drivers. Altenative (all working OK with the same drivers) GPU is server FirePro S9150 via W7000 as a proxy interface dongle.

There is a similar issue with PS 23.5 version

Both your Photoshop and AMD drivers aren't updated. Make sure those are all up to date.

It also looks like you have multiple different cards in this machine. Are there four different graphics cards?

Engineers suggest only plugging monitors into the AMD FirePro S9150 rather than the less capable AMD FirePro W7000 (you may want to just remove the AMD FirePro W7000 altogether and use a single card to avoid conflicts of them running together)

There are only two video cards: FirePro W7000 and S9150, both AMD, but S9150 has no display connectivity and may be used only as an auxiliary render GPU (works well with Premiere, DaVinci Resolve and Capture One) or with W7000 as an output GPU dongle, but such a configuration can't enable color management correctly because of misuse of video LUT.

Yes, I'm using stable build 23.4.2 because it normally utilizes my W7000 graphics card.

Do I need to install PS v.23.5.1 back and send you a report? Can it be helpful?

PS: Premiere, Media Encoder, DaVinci Resolve and Capture One work well with both cards simultaneously.

The AMD drivers version is the latest officially available one for these cards. Newer releases of RadeonPro drivers don't support them.

Hmm OK. Let's try this: Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and enable "Older GPU mode (pre 2016)" - Restart Photoshop. Does the problem persist?

I have installed the newest PS 24.0.0 release and it works well without any tweaks. Older GPU Mode works pretty good too but with some lags.
