Very strange problem.
If I hold the cursor over the timeline and scroll it using the macbook touchpad, the scrolling is very slow. It only happens when I hold the pen close to the tablet. If it is a mouse, then there is no such problem. Very strange behavior.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Which version of macOS are you using? What type of file format are you working with?

Did it start after any update? have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?

You can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences.

Please back up your settings prior to resetting the preferences.

You can check https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#BackupPhotoshoppreferences
