Photoshop 24.7 not saving files

While attempting to save files in Photoshop, as I have done for more than 20 years, The process stalls at 21% for half an hour or so, tried multiple files and restarted the app and computer multiple times, 21% each time. 

What's up Adobe?

I'm having similar issues since upgrading. Mine does eventually save but takes 30 mins.
