Photoshop 25.0 release made my Wacom Pro M absolutely useless.

So I have had this issue before and now it is back. Every time I use a tool or do something which requires you to grab a point with Wacom and move it somewhere (be it zoom, transform, hand tool) it gets stuck.

Like really stuck. I need to wiggle the pen around and take it very slowly to actually make it work again and get it to release. There are numerous things I have done to try and fix this, but so far I have been unable to do so. I have quite long experience with PS so I have tried the following:

  • The classic PSUserConfig.txt file to adjust how the pen works.
  • Changed something in the registry suggested here.
  • Updated Wacom drivers. (There was no firmware update for the pen)
  • Updated to latest photoshop version (Obviously).
  • Updated to latest Graphics card drivers.
  • Reset preferences.
  • Restarted PC.
  • Restarted Wacom Professional Service (multiple times.)

I am running out of ideas and would like to know if anyone else is experiencing the same issue or has a solution because I literally cant use the tablet if the pen gets stuck every two seconds.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe this isn't the solution, but a lot of people have the sticky problem and some resolved by unchecking (or checking) the windows ink button in wacom settings: Like someone said in this page of this old post
