Photoshop 25.2 crashes with paths (pen tool)

New Here ,
Nov 30, 2023 Nov 30, 2023

Hello
Today I upgraded Photoshop to version 25.2, and every time I make a path with the pen tool and try to name it or convert it to a selection the program crashes.

Please fix this soon as it is a much used and needed tool.

@eclectick the Pen Tool is working fine for me on Windows 10 with Photoshop version 25.2, have you tried manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to backup your settings before doing the preference reset

Photoshop is crashing for me at least once a day regardless of what tool I'm using or not using. It crashes if left idle for a while too. I'm stepping back to 25.0 again. 25.0 never crashed for me on windows 11.
