New Here ,
Jul 11, 2024 Jul 11, 2024

Hi,

Ive just updated to Photoshop 25.9.1 but now I cant open any webp images. There are forms mentioning plugins for Photoshop23 and older, but noting for the newer versions.

Anyone else having issues wit this? or any suggestions to help?

Thanks

There is the "unidentified developer" warning I get from Photoshop, but not Preview. I can OK that, but never imagined a graphic file would need that permission. Safe to do so?

Somewhere you have unsigned code trying to run. I'd say no and figure out what it is. If you double-click a running application's name in Activity Monitor, there is a button to show open files and ports. You can see what Photoshop has open.

Well lovely. I composed my reply only to lose it in an errant tap on the phone. So basically nothing odd turned up in the activity monitor where you said to look. Preview has no problems with it  so to be on the safe side I changed it to a png. Malwarebytes scan turned up nothing and I keep file extensions on in the Finder. SIP is enabled and Graphics files tend to be safe.
