Photoshop and other applications update size

I want to know when an update arrives, how large the file is. how big is the update in MB, and how many files are being downloaded. I'm surprised this isn't in a drop-down menu in the CCD client. Where do I find this information for every update that comes along?

Interesting question, but do you know of any software that provides this information when an update arrives? Where do you find this information with your other software?
Apologies for the 10-day delay in seeing your question.

@jane-e, for some driver and bios updates, the size of the update is typically indicated. I read this question several days ago, but couldn't find where Adobe provides this info, either. I think it would be helpful to know.
ETA: Another example is Microsoft Office apps such as Outlook:

Do you see that information before or after you download?
Microsoft says this:
"The following tables show the approximate download size when updating from the previous release of Microsoft 365 Apps to the most current release. Actual download sizes might vary, by as much as 50 mb. If you are updating from an older release to the current release, your download size could be larger. If you are switching to a different channel, for example from Semi-Annual Channel (Targeted) to Semi-Annual Channel, your update size could be considerably larger than what's listed in the table. It could entail a full download, which could be at least 1 GB."

Well, it depends on the user. I usually don't choose to auto update any of my software. So, when I get a notification that there is an update, I'll look into the documentation first to see what's included. For Windows updates, they will list the size of the update for each file alongside the info. NVIDIA driver updates let you see the file size first. I'm fairly sure on most of my smartphone apps, updates include the size of the file. I don't have auto-update on any of my smartphone apps, as I always want to see what's included and how much space it's going to take. Sometimes I have to do some digging to find out the info, but it's often found somewhere for those of us who would even care about it. However, after some searching, I couldn't find such info for Adobe apps, and I think that seems odd.

Of course, it's possible to get a general idea of what the total size of any program is on your system, so I'm not implying that this file size info is hidden or anything. I'm only thinking that when an update is ready, an indication of what that particular update file size is may provide info some users, such as @Arctics, need to know before proceeding. And I don't see the harm or hassle in making that public somewhere (if it isn't already)?

ProDesignTools has direct downloads for the Adobe Creative Cloud apps. I picked 2018 at random, but he has links going well back right up to current versions.
