Don't forget that Windows need memory to work properly.  If you try running with thos settings, you are almost certain to see your system crash.

thank you Trevor, I adjusted memory allocation, as in the attached image. I'm providing 1 more memory card that will complete 12GB, that's what I can buy now. thanks

12GB is a much more healthy amount of RAM for Photoshop.  Not great, but a lot better than 8.  Until then, if you can get away with 82% thern carry on with that setting.  You'll notice issues when performing a task like printing an image because the OS (Windows has to spool the image ready to print and that takes some memory.  So it is working for you, stay with it, but avoid having lots of apps open.

Until you can get more memory,

  • set the memory allocation down to 60-65%
  • reduce history states to 2 or 3
  • make sure your scratch disk is in order with enough free space
  • avoid opening more than one image at a time
  • avoid opening other applications while PS is running

It won't run efficiently, but it should run.

Thank you ! I´ll try these settings.

Also, I already have 2 extra disks that help me make photoshop work better.
