I noticed that my brushes were not working properly so I updated to Photoshop 2024. After rebooting and trying almost every fix suggested in articles. Several of my Kyle's dry media brushes are not working. I've reset tools etc. Nothing is working. In the middle of an illustration project where I really need the brushes to match. Is there some glitch? Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Can you provide more details? Specifically, what is not working? Are you unable to paint, select a brush, or encounter some other issue? Could you please post a screenshot of the entire Photoshop window with the Layers panel expanded and visible, and indicate the layer you are attempting to paint on?

The brushes are not making strokes. A few work, most don't. I have created new layers to see if it was the layer. That didn't work. I have de selected. That didn't work. I have checked to make sure caps lock wasn't on. I have reset the brush tool. I have reset all tools. I have restarted and shut down. None of it seems to make the brushes functional. I can't post my artwork. Let me just start a new file and post a screenshot of that.... Okay so for example the Pastel brush that is selected does not make strokes onto layer 1 nor the background layer, but the Happy Pencil and the Kyle Bonus Chunky Charcoal Brush works fine. Many of the brushes in dry media folder do not make strokes. I did download it again to see if that folder had updates, but they don't work either. Thanks for your thoughts.

I recently upgraded to the most recent photoshop and now my brush size does not match the cursor. Same with the eraser tool. Say my cursor shows a circle of 1", when I click on it, the dot it creates is about 3/4". I can no longer paint right up to a shape or erase exactly what I want because the cursor is inaccurate
