PHOTOSHOP BRUSHES NOT WORKING

My brush tool is just not working. I have tried everything, including opening a new document, rebooting Photoshop etc, and turning the caps lock off because someone in the Adoibe community recommended that. Nothing. Not making a single stroke! Help!

If that doesn't help, try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to back up your settings before doing the preference reset
