Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the exact version of Photoshop you're working on?

Please add Photoshop to the Accessibility list on your Mac along with Full disk access by following the steps suggested here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/quick-tips-learn-how-to-give-full-dis...

If the issue persists, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#BackupPhotoshoppreferences

Let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Make sure you have that external plugged in when trying to access it. If you try to open from your recently open list, it could result in an error. Once it's plugged in, open that file, then save it as a PSD in a new location. Keep us updated.

Hey,

the external drive was allways pluged in.

I am clueless.

I copied the complete drive over the weekend and with the new drive I have the same problem!

What security problem or other problem could that be?

I updateted the app to the newest version.

PS 23.3.1

This is really frustrating.

This is my complete archive. And it would be a disaster.

The Drive is in APFS.

What I can see is, that is does not appear as scretch disk in the preferences.

kind regards Peter
