How do you remove an item from the file/automate menu in PS CC?

A help/forum search shows nothing relevant.

Thanks.

Go to Edit > Keyboard shortcuts, click on the Menu tab, then click the eye icon for the item you want to remove.

See screen clip. No eyeball. "Delete Shortcut" does not delete menu item "NIK Selective Tool" highlighted.[Left over from previous version of NIK /collection]

Thanks

You are in the wrong tab ("Keyboard Shortcuts" instead of "Menue") - you can also use the  Shortcut Alt+Shift+Ctrl+M

OK, but (see atatched), this does not list the item I want to remove (Nik Collection Selective tool) only Nik SelectiveTool 2 (see prev msg image).

Also, I want to remove the iten entirely, not just hide it as it is a "left over" form a previous version that is no longer installed.

It depends on the item, can you be specific?

For example, some scripts can be displayed under automate, however, they are installed in the standard scripts folder.
