Hi there,

I recently reinstalled my Windows and forgot do deactivate my Adobe products before (CS6). Now when I start the applications, it shows a window that says that my serial number is already used on two computers (because I use it on two computers ^^) and I have to deactivate it on one.

But since I resettet my PC, I can not deactivate the license on the "other" computer (which is actually the same computer just with reinstalled system).

as far as I know, adobe has also discontinued the support for CS6 products a few years ago.

Is there any option to activate my license on my PC again?

Thank you ❤️

Adobe Customer Care can reset activations. If they tell you they don't support CS6, tell them you don't want support; you want them to reset your activations. Don't let them send you back to the public forums, as we can cannot do it. Only Adobe Customer Care can reset activations.

Hi @jane-e and @Moritz34550176m0mb ,

I have run into the same situation (broken hard drive > deactivation not possible > new installation not possible), but when using Adobe's Chat as you have suggested, the bot keeps saying that it has "found no record of an active plan linked" to my email address. It shows me the correct address to which all our products have been linked, and I can see all of them listed as 'registered' in my Adobe account from which I am running the chat.

Would you have any advice on how to proceed? It seems that if they do not take me as a customer with a valid plan, there is no other way to get through the automatic chat (and I do not have an account on X either)...

Thank you!
