Photoshop CSS 2025 for Mac won't open

I updated the OS on my iMac to Sequoia 15.3.2 tonight. 

My Photoshop version is 26.4.1

Now Photoshop does not open; even when clicking directly on the main application icon (as opposed to the icon in the dock). I get the message: Could not complete your request because the file was not found. I tried moving the settings to the desktop so that new settings would be created, but that made no difference. 

I tried restarting, and all the other dumb things that one is supposed to try. 

This is super frustrating!

If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

I won't say Sequoia 15.3.2 is problem-free -- I spent the day trying to troubleshoot smart TV, wireless speakers, security camera and mesh network issues which I blame on updating my OS and iOS.

I'm running Ps 26.4.1, also, have no problem. I know, lucky me.

If you haven't already, I'd go back to Creative Cloud>Apps, select the tree dots ". . ." (More Actions);

Uninstall; then Install again.

Larry, thank you for your response! When trying to research why Photoshop wouldn't open, I saw some suggestions that I should remove the settings from the "Library" folder - in theory when I restarted PS, it would make new settings. If that makes any sense. Anyway, it didn't work.

After trying several other things, I finally just redownloaded PS from the Adobe site, and now it works, so I feel dumb that I did not try that right away.

Anyway, once again, thank you for your help, your suggest to Uninstall and Install again was just the right thing.
