Photoshop doesn't load properly and also the program freezes when opening

hi everyone! all of a sudden, after photoshop working normally for a year, i opened a new file and it froze the program and doesn't even load properly.

i have tried reinstalling it and updating to the latest version, however no fix yet.

if anyone could help me out that would be great, thank you so much!

Same. It updated earlier this evening and now it takes 25 minutes to open a file, or just stops responding completely. It was fine before the update.

The Adobe Creative Cloud app allows for multiple versions of Photoshop to be simultaneously installed. You could try installing and using an earlier version to better isolate the problem.
