Hello guys!

I have a macbook pro M1 and photoshop runs fine with it. Only small lags when typing nothing major. But i have a PC WIN10 with intel 12700K processor and RTX 3060 GPU and the typing is so slow that is unusable. I have to write my copy in microsoft word and then paste it into photoshop.

I was hoping to find some answers here as to why the windows version of photoshop is so much worse than on mac. I hope Adobe reads this and fixes the issue and optimizes the software also for windows. The RTX 3060 is a powerful GPU so I don't understand why doing something as simple as typing text would be so laggy.

Thanks you guys for all your help and answers.

@Mark Shian LS no issues with typing on my system with Photoshop 24.6, typing is instant, I'm on Windows 11 but never had any issues with Windows 10 either

Have you tried resetting the tools

If that doesn't help try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to backup your settings before doing the preference reset
