I've been encountering frustrating issues with Adobe Photoshop lately, as the software frequently freezes and crashes during my work sessions, leading to significant disruptions and loss of progress. Despite being a loyal user for years and maintaining my system with regular updates and maintenance, I'm at a loss as to why Photoshop has become so unstable. The crashes seem to occur randomly, sometimes when performing simple tasks like resizing images or applying basic adjustments, and other times during more complex operations involving layers and filters. I've tried various troubleshooting steps, including updating Photoshop to the latest version, checking for conflicts with third-party plugins, and resetting preferences, but the problem persists. I've also monitored system resources during Photoshop usage, and there doesn't appear to be any unusual spikes or bottlenecks that could be causing the crashes. Has anyone else been experiencing similar instability issues with Photoshop? If so, what additional steps can I take to diagnose and resolve these frequent crashes? Any advice or insights from the community would be greatly appreciated as I strive to regain stability and reliability in my Photoshop workflow.

Crashing is almost always in your graphics processor (GPU).
What GPU do you have? If you post Help > System Info, we can see your GPU configuration.
GPU technology is the focus point in computer development now. With every new Photoshop version, more and more functionality is moved to the GPU, and requirements for GPU capabilities keep increasing. That's why you're getting problems in later versions.
