Photoshop Generate Image Prompt

Hello.
Instructions within PHC say I may use a reference image for what I am trying to create.
I am able to upload a reference image but cannot use it as a guide to follow or to create an image close to exactly the reference image I uploaded. Is there a way to "add one of my own images (that I want to follow or create something like), to the gallery so that I may use it as a "generate image' prompt?
I want an image very close to this one.
Thanks

M.E., I'm hoping I'm not the only one who isn't sure what you need.
Isn't' your ability to upload a reference image the "way to "add one of [your] own images ... to the gallery so that [you] may use it as a 'generate image' prompt?"?
Have you uploaded the hairy caveman image as your reference image or does [it] resemble the desired result of the image generation? Is the final product an overlay or composite?

Sorry it has taken so long for me to respond.
I have uploaded my caveman image but cannot seem to find the trick
to use it as a reference.
My image is very different from what the image generator produces.
It only produces Hollywood looking hulks, with perfectly coiffed hair,
no warts, hairy arms etc.
The generator also stops and informs me I have violated or may have violated
certain standards. I know I haven't but even then, so what. I need an image
and why is some AP (artificial programming - it's not intelligence)
censoring me
for a simple image and only producing images that are not real in the
artificial sense
but maybe some PC BS sense?
Thanks

I think I know how to upload an image in the Generate Image dialog but I had a frustrating time of it.
My expectation is that my result looked as if the reference image was just a suggestion. I can record a QuickTime movie to demonstrate what I did do if that woule help the conversation.

Ironically, posting the rules breakes the rules. "seckshual" was flagged, then quoted to me:
"The message body contains seckshual, which is not permitted in this community. Please remove this content before sending your post."
'seckshual' used to skirt the check.
