Photoshop Generative AI not doing anything

For the past few months, the photoshop generative ai feature has simply not been working for me. When I type a prompt and hit generate, it starts loading, but then cuts off and doesn't do anything. I gave up on it a while ago but would like to experiment with the feature again. Is there a reason for this feature not working as intended? I am running Photoshop 2024 General release v25.0. The feature does not seem to work in the latest Photoshop Beta version either.
