Photoshop glitch when loading file

Hi there all, I have been having an issue with photoshop recently that I have no clue how to fix. Everytime I try to load a file in photoshop it does this visual glitch where it shows the home page instead. I tried downloading older versions of photoshop but this did not do anything and everytime I try and google about this problem, I just get tutorials about how to remove the home screen entirely (which obviously is not the issue). Completely clueless with what to do here as I have never had this issue, any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Hi @Oscar24692401fzt3, sorry you are seeing this.

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
