Hey there,

We're sorry for the Photoshop crash issue. We need more details to help you.

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the issue?

Do you see any error on the screen when crash happens?

Have you submitted the crash report? If not, please submit the crash report for Photoshop and share the email address from which you will be sharing the crash report.

Thanks,

Shivani

'delete the graphic unit from device manager'

This is bad advice without first identifying the cause of the crash. Neither does it resolve the OPs question on resetting Photoshop settings.

@Mostofa_kamal Do I take it from your description, that the crash was one off and you are just looking to reset your preferences or is the crash ongoing?

If it is the former, then you will need to set your manual preferences again after the reset, but following that step, you can make a copy of the Preferences folder at Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings

which you can use to restore settings if needed. You will need to repeat this process when Photoshop updates as the Preferences setting files contain more settings than just those which you can manually set. They are actually saved each time Photoshop closes, but at least with a back up you can return to a known state.

https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/photoshop/using/preferences.html gives more info on backing up and resetting preferences.

If your problem is that you are continually experiencing crashes, even after resetting preferences, can you please describe the circumstances around the crash, as requested by Shivani.
